Extend Library Hours on Weekends

Our beloved community library currently closes at 5 PM on Saturdays and remains closed on Sundays. This schedule makes it nearly impossible for working families to utilize this vital community resource.

We are calling on the City Council to allocate funding to extend library hours to 8 PM on Saturdays and open the library from 12 PM to 6 PM on Sundays.

Why This Matters

• Over 60% of households have all adults working full-time
• Students need weekend access for research and study
• The library serves as a vital community gathering space
• Extended hours would increase accessibility for all residents
